Practice Membership Plans
Passionate about what we do, at Gorse Covert Dental Practice we aim to ensure that our valued patients have the opportunity to benefit from healthy gums, fresh breath and a confident smile in an affordable, convenient and professional way.
One of the key ways in which we aim to do this is to therefore through a choice of affordable Practice Memberhship Plans (known as our Maintenance Plan and our Preventive Plan) that allow our patients to budget the cost of their dental care.
Maintenance Plan
From only £35.00 per month*, our Maintenance Plan is with our Principal Dentist only – and will require you to have a full Dental Examination, and be dentally fit, before you can join onto it.
The following is included with Maintenance Plan membership:
- All regular dental health examinations including scale and polish and periodontal advice
- All small x-rays
- All fillings
- All crown and bridge work (excluding laboratory fee)
- Root canal treatment (excluding fee for root canal instruments)
- Extensive preventive advice including diet and oral hygiene advice
- Membership card with 24 hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
- Eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme.

Prevention Plan
From only £11.50 per month*, the Prevention Plan is with our Associate Dentists. You will be required to have a Dental Examination, and any treatment that you need will be discussed with you at your appointment. The level of your Plan will be decided by your dentist - so that you are put on the Plan that best fits your needs. As a Plan member, you will receive 10% off of the cost of any recommended treatment, and commencement of the Plan will be discussed at your initial appointment.
The following is included with Prevention Plan membership:
- Level One (£11.50 per month*): 1 x Combined Examination and a Scale & Polish appointment (including periodontal advice)
- Level Two (£19.97 per month*): 2 x Combined Examination and a Scale & Polish appointment (including periodontal advice)
- Level Three (£29.97 per month*): 2 x Combined Examination and a Scale & Polish appointment (including periodontal advice) and 2 x additional Scale & Polish appointments (periodontal treatment is charged on top)

*There is an administration fee of £10 at the point of joining a Plan; this is for your first payment only. You can then fill in a Direct Debit mandate after you have seen your dentist for a Dental Examination, and once you both discussed and agreed the right plan for you. Going forward your ongoing Dental Examinations and Hygiene appointments will be covered underneath your plan after a qualifying period.
